Beauty of free diving

Free diving is definitely one of the most beautiful sports out there. It is dangerous, but yet always looks so zen-like cool.

Here’s the video where William Trubridge breaks the freediving world record without fins with a dive to 88m (288 feet) in 3:30 in Dean’s Blue Hole, Bahamas.

88 meters. That is pretty sick. I mean, impressive.
I’m such a wuss, my oh-so-sensitive ears start giving me trouble in any depth below 4 metres, haha!

What is even more impressive, that just before Xmas he added length of Christmas tree to his record. On 3rd of December he broke again his own record with a depth of 90 m. The dive took 3min 40sec.

  3. @oxygenjunkie – that’s a world record my friends. I’m sure most people can’t do that – 88m!
